Cookie policy
This site runs without advertising, analytics or tracking cookies. The only one it sets remembers the language you choose.
01What a cookie is
A small file a site stores in your browser to remember something between visits. Some are needed for the site to work or to honor a preference of yours; others measure audiences or serve ads. Only the first kind is used here.
02The only cookie we use
- Name
- o4pl_locale
- Purpose
- Remembering whether you prefer the site in Spanish or English
- Contents
- Only the language code: es or en
- Lifetime
- One year
- Owner
- First party; no third party has access to it
It is set only when you pick a language in the switcher or accept the suggestion to change. It does not identify you and cannot track your browsing, here or anywhere else.
03What this site does not do
- It does not use Google Analytics or any other analytics tool
- It embeds no social media or advertising pixels or tags
- It shares no browsing data with third parties
- It builds no profiles of its visitors
That is why you will not see a consent banner: there is nothing to consent to beyond the technical cookie described above, which the law exempts because it is needed to provide the service you asked for.
04How to remove it
You can delete or block it from your browser settings, under privacy or browsing data. The site will keep working normally if you do: it will simply show up in the default language again.
05Third-party services
The images and videos on this site are served from our own infrastructure on Vercel, which hosts the website. Vercel processes technical connection data such as your IP address in order to deliver content and protect the service, without setting cookies in your browser.
This is a translation for convenience. The Spanish version of this document is the one that governs.
